Nitinol Alloy is a shape memory alloy composed of approximately 55% nickel and 45% titanium, which possesses excellent shape memory effects, superelasticity, biocompatibility and corrosion resistance. It has a wide range of applications in medical devices (stents, catheters), aerospace (actuators, sensors), robotics (flexible joints, actuators) and consumer electronics (eyeglass frames, cell phone antennas).
